"Such a Nice Afternoon"

I discovered this hidden cove while exploring the beach access trails in my city. The trail was steep - took me 10 miuutes to walk down - longer to walk back up. My watercolours, sketch pad and camera are always with me, I was prepared. I spent the good part of an afternoon enjoying the ocean breeze and loosing myself completely in the practice of arting. I completed the finished painting in my studio using my references painting - the scene painted onto the side of the canvas as I do with all my paintings.
